Help Jay Overcome Injury Hardships

I'm a single father that suffered a full tear ACL injury requiring surgery. Since the injury happened outside of my day job, and the contractor I was working for insurance company is battling to not pay anything I am really left as a single person between a rock and a hard place.

I am so grateful for the people that have already helped me get me to appointments and have helped me out with groceries and I am so incredibly embarrassed This situation has come to this as I have been forced to not only pay deductibles out of pocket, but I am currently unable to return to work and Short Term Disability was denied since my injury didn't happen at work

This is a nightmare and I hate asking for help but I don't know where else to go since I have very little left to cover the continuing medical costs, let alone rent and utilities. I am in dire need of any help at this point and am humbled for anything given. I'm so sorry I have to even ask, as I hate being in this position, it's very embarrassing and humbling. Any funds will be used for Rent, utilities, and on going medical costs. I appreciate you all.
