Help a Mom obtain equal custody & adopt her child

Hello, our names are David & Giselle and we are kindly asking for help for our good friend Bianca so that she may be able to legally adopt her daughter whom she has raised w/ endless love for the past seven years.

We have witnessed firsthand what a devoted mother Bianca is but her unwavering commitment to her child is challenged by a complex legal battle ahead stemming from her past relationship with her ex. Even though Bianca and her ex ended their romantic relationship they always had plans to co-parent if things didn't work out but since Bianca moved out the process has come to a halt and she is left with no choice but to pursue legal action. This is her last result after pleading w/ her ex for nearly a year.

Bianca's journey as a mother began with deep love and commitment when she and her ex decided to have a child together over seven years ago however their relationship took an unexpected turn and they made the difficult decision to part ways.

Now, Bianca faces the heart-wrenching reality that without legal rights, she may lose the child she has nurtured as her own since the day she was born. Bianca has been part of every decision in the child’s life from insemination to now. Unfortunately, same-sex couples under NY state law still don't have the same legal rights when having children.

We believe her daughter deserves a stable life filled with love, co-parented by the two people who brought her into this world. We have seen how difficult this ordeal has been for her daughter. She loves her moms and counting on them to figure it out.

In addition, her daughter has been dealing with medical issues and school needs that w/ Bianca being able to adopt her she can be there for her as a legal parent to continue to support her as she has from day one before she was even born.
