Help A Disabled Son and Brother

Hey everyone. Its hard asking for help. Especially at a time when there is much help needed due to our current pandemic. So to all those who need help, I hope you get it. Things will get better. You have to have faith.
I'm asking for help for my brother, Daniel Kincaid, to help him get through a tough situation every person has to eventually deal with. His situation is somewhat unique. He is 29 years old, 5'10 & 200 lbs. He was born with cerebral palsy. Although he is a quadriplegic with very little function in his extremities, he is one of the most funny, warm hearted, and optimistic human beings you could ever encounter. At Indiana State he earned his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, though due to his cerebral palsy, finding employment in any field has been difficult. He currently uses his time going over cold case/missing person cases in conjunction with local and state authorities. The work he performs is mostly pro bono.
Throughout his life he has been cared for by his parents, with his father being the main caregiver and providing financial support. Unfortunately, his dad passed away on the morning of December 13th, just one day before his 65th birthday. Doug was a Navy veteran who was a kind and generous man who will definitely be missed by all.
With his fathers passing Danny's financial and medical support is greatly affected. He receives a monthly disability check which on its own is not nearly enough to cover all of his monthly expenses. His van has a lift which is broken and needs major repairs. He currently has no mode of transportation. Due to his father recently obtaining 100% disable veteran status, he was trying to gain access to funds available to 100% disabled Veterans to fix the van and start renovations on his house to make it easier for Danny to move around, bathe, and perform all the necessary functions to take care of Danny. Unfortunately he passed before being able to secure such money/grants. His mother will become his primary caregiver and need assistance aiding him in his daily functions. Currently we are trying to liquidate as many possessions as possible to come up with the means to help fix all the problems left in the wake of his late father. It will take time and resources to get him the 24/7 support he needs as well as a reliable mode of transportation. Upon arriving at Daniel's home we discovered that there is no working furnace, air conditioning, and the electrical in the house is old and decrepit. There is only one outlet capable of powering a space heater, the rest are a safety/fire hazard. Daniel needs assistant getting heat inside of the home.
We will never be able to replace his dad. No ones father can ever be replaced. But we can try to make things a little easier. With a little help, support, and faith we can pick up the pieces and everything will be okay.
Thank you and God bless!
