Give an abandoned dog a fighting chance at life.

On May 27th I rescued a dog while out in rural Kentucky. She had over 120+ ticks on her, as well as ringworm and tapeworm. She also tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia. She was abandoned, likely driven in from out of town and dumped. She's had a litter before I found her, and according to friends who are professionals in the pet world, she wouldn't have lasted another month. I have named her Nimbus because I found her after a severe thunderstorm.
She was fine through June, we tested her through my vet and got her the medicine she needed, but this last week in July her left eye started swelling and has now clouded over. This happened in a matter of days, which means either primary glaucoma or secondary glaucoma from the Ehrlychia. She has lost vision in it, and it's causing her extreme pain, and she needs to have it removed.
Her eye started swelling Monday, 7/8, but I thought she scratched it on the hiking trail I walk her on. But it started clouding over Wednesday, 7/10. I took her to the vet hospital that evening, got testing, medicine and a referral for an opthamologist. I took her to the opthamologist after my vet saw her Friday, 7/12, who said her eye has to be removed but they wanted $5,000 to do it. I cannot afford that, and that kind of expense would put me under.
Her medical bills have already cost me over $3,000 that I do not have, since this situation started. I am looking to raise $5.000 to cover the cost of what I've already paid, plus the cost of a low-cost surgery clinic to remove her eye. I cannot afford any more medical expenses out of pocket, because I have bills for other things that, combined, would bankrupt me. I need a miracle, otherwise I do not know what I'm going to do.
So if you want to help me help this little lady have a fighting chance at life, please consider donating. Thank you for your time and thank you for reading.
