Help A Double Amputee Get A New Wheelchair

Hey y'all! I am starting my newest endeavor of helping another human and one that I'm honored to be a part of.
My friend Joe is a double amputee that suffered severe injuries from the waist down, following a car accident. Due to the severity of his burns and other complications, he is currently in a position to potentially lose his knee and one of his residual limbs entirely, resulting in difficulty utilizing his prosthetic legs. Joe is in need of further surgeries, so to some degree, his chair is currently his only form of mobility.
For those of you that are either in a chair or have attempted to help a loved one in a chair, rough terrain can be incredibly difficult to manage and sometimes impossible. Joe was an active outdoorsman prior to his accident and would love to be able to fish, camp, hike, participate in OCRs and get some of his freedom back - all of which can be done with a Grit chair. However, this life changing chair is financially out of his budget due to limited SSD income, lack of coverage by his insurance and also because most amputees that are not military connected do not have the organizations and outreach programs that help in this format.
So I am reaching out and asking that you donate to help us get Joe into a Freedom chair and help us bring him both his independence back and to also reunite him with his love of the outdoors.
Any amount you can give would be an enormous blessing. If any of you would like to donate as a "gift" to a loved one for the upcoming holiday season, please PM me and I would be happy to mail them a formal certificate of the life they are changing.
