Help a Family after a Horrible Fire

Hi, my name is Jill Laviolette and I am a family friend of Felicia and Matt and the kids.

On January 21st at roughly 7pm, Felicia and Matts family experienced a horrific house fire. The family was not home, and were out of town for work. One of their youth was home and due to his incredible fast action and thinking he was able to save so many of the families pets. Had he not been home or panicked - there would have been more devastating losses.

The family is now displaced along with their pets who survived the fire.

This family is local - all the kids go to school in Port Hardy. Matt works local and Felicia is a foster animal momma, rescuer and advocate.

The clean up and rebuilding efforts will be long and arduous.

We are hoping to help alleviate some of the stress of trying to come to grips with what has happened, the financial stress and worry, and the rebuilding.

If you prefer to not donate to go fund me - please reach out for a direct email address for EMT. Once housing is secured - furniture, clothing and necessities can be acquired and accepted. But, as of right now - funds are the easiest way to help this family as they struggle with this huge loss.
