Help a family from Gaza start their new life

Hello, I’m Mai Auda, 20 years old (on the right in the picture). I'm a data analyst and a Computer Systems engineering student at Al-Azhar University Gaza (AUG). The war in Gaza destroyed and stole everything from me. My home, my loved people, my university, my dreams, my life.

Currently me and my family are in Egypt. We paid more than $30,000 just to cross the Rafah border ($5,000 for each person!) We had some money saved but also we borrowed some money as it’s not a small number. It’s HUGE!

For sure during 5 months of the war we spent a lot of money … life is really expensive and everything is sold at 10 to 15 times the original price.

We moved to Egypt with nothing (no clothes, not enough money to live, etc) and that’s because during the 5 months war we survived we evacuated to the south and our home was fully destroyed so we couldn’t take anything with us.

Life is really difficult and expensive, there are no jobs and we have to pay rent every month for the place we live in. I’m reaching out you all to support me and my family to stand up again and start a new life after we lost everything.
