HELP A FAMILY JOIN A FATHER IN THE USA

Hi, I am Elizabeth, former Secretary, President, Co-Chair and now a trustee of the Northern NJ Sanctuary Coalition, which helps asylum seekers and other refugees fleeing threats to their lives to resettle in NJ. Some years ago we assisted a Ugandan refugee with housing, pocket money, and job searches for nearly 4 years before he was able to find a full-time job and housing in Texas. Meanwhile, he has applied for and has been waiting for the rest of his family to obtain visas to join him in the US. It has taken over three years for this to happen, as they just last week received their visas. Our former client's eldest child will soon turn 21, so she (and the others) must fly to the US by early March so that she does not lose her visa. Each flight costs approximately $1200.
