Help A Family Rebuild After Hurricane Helene Devastation

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for the Hoke family who recently lost everything in the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene. Rory, Lo, and their 3 children and cats were able to escape the flooding in Burnsville, NC physically unharmed, but they are left without a home. Their belongings, cherished memories, and essentials were all swept away in the storm.

Like so many artists and musicians impacted by this tragedy, Rory is also out of work as Western North Carolina begins the long process of rebuilding after the hurricane. While the region rebuilds, musicians, artists, and their families need community support to help them reestablish their lives and rebuild from scratch. Funds raised here will help to cover basic necessities like clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as long-term support to rebuild their home and restore a sense of normalcy for their children.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming, but with community generosity, we can help lift this family up during this devastating time. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in their lives.
