Rebuild Hope for my Family in Altadena

Hi, my name is Gen Soto, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support after the devastating wildfire that recently swept through our community in Altadena, California. My family’s home, located near Morada and Lake, was one of the many that were destroyed. We’ve lived in this house for over 10 years, and it’s incredibly painful to lose everything we’ve worked so hard to build.

In addition to our own loss, my aunt’s daycare was also burned in the fire. As a family, we are trying to pick up the pieces and get back on our feet, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The funds raised here will help us get back on our feet and support my aunt in restoring her daycare, which is crucial for her livelihood and the families who rely on her care.
