Help a Family Start Their New and Better Life
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jessica Joseph. I am an Autistic writer who is currently going for her MFA in Professional and Creative Writing at Western Connecticut State University. Four months ago, my family (myself, my younger brother, and my mother) bought our first house that we want it to be our forever home. We have lived in public housing for 20 years and had always dreamed of owning a nice home with a yard. Recently, we are going through a rough financial situation in that we cannot keep up with expenses:
- Unexpected bills and expenses put us in a place where my mother cannot see how we can maintain the mortgage, utilities, and the credit cards.
- Last semester, I fell behind and I owe $6,300 that cannot be covered by Financial Aid. It is about to go to collections and I need help to pay it so I can return to college and finish my Master's degree.
Recently, my grandmother died two weeks ago and we are still recovering from the sudden loss. I had the funeral last Saturday and I had to cover traveling costs so that family from out of town can attend. We are in desperate need of funds.
Your donation will not only help a family keep up with the bills and maintain a steady flow of payment and quality of life, but it will also help the eldest daughter return to school, receive a higher education, and ease into the transition of her career so that she could support her family. Thank you.
