help a family to bring seriously ill dad home
Donation protected
Hi my name is Ally and i'm asking for help some of you will know and some of you won't know my friend Jolene Burder and her family
How do I start this
A Hampshire family has issued a desperate appeal as they try to get their seriously ill father home from Thailand to the Uk.
74-year old Peter Burder suffered a stroke and collapsed in his apartment in Thailand last month
He lay unconscious for 3 days until his family back home in Fareham raised the alarm when he didn't respond to messages
Peter remains in a serious condition in a hospital in Thailand where he is suffering from acute kidney failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, sepsis shock and pneumonia
In just 8 days, the medical bill has reached £20,000 with a warning it could reach £50,000
His family is now trying to get him home on a repatriated flight, but a medical flight home could be an additional £20,000
His daughters Jolene and Cheryl have flown out with their mum to be by peters side in Thailand
Jolene said "One moment I was eating lunch at work and then I was on the next flight to Thailand"
"We were in the air for almost 13 hours not knowing if Dad had already passed away "
"Our priority now is to get Dad home and get him the care he so desperately needs"
"My sister and I don't want money to get ourselves home. This is all for Dad and Mum
and a medic by his side, All we want is to see Dad get home as quickly as possible"
This comes at an already difficult time for the Burder family, with peters son currently in hospital in the Uk having just had both his legs amputated
Any donations are greatly appreciated
thankyou
