Help a fellow Wufie in Trouble

Hi, I am Kate and I have started this fundraiser to get some help for Anne.
She has been an active member of the WUFCAC.
She needs help to get restarted once she gets out of the hospital.
In short...
Our friend Anne needs your help.
On June 16.2022, she went to her local hospital thinking it was dehydration.
She was diagnosed with sepsis. Sepsis very quickly attacked her brain and heart. Sepsis destroyed her mitral valve and created double pneumonia.
She became so unstable she was placed on a ventilator until the team of doctors could get her stable enough that she might survive a heart valve replacement. The surgery was successful however, during her second week of recovery it was decided that she needed to have her left toes amputated due to infection.
Two days later her boyfriend of three years would leave her.
Anne now has the added burden of finding a place to live, rehab, and recovery that can take months as she fights to get her life back.
Anne has been struggling these last few weeks.
She says,
“The sepsis attacked so many important pieces of myself like my brain, heart, and lungs. I have survived Open heart surgery despite no one giving me a good chance of living and here I am.
I am grateful but feel far different than the Annie I was beforehand.
My brain seems to have set my body off in a series of twitches and jerks. Some are very small, and others aren’t.
I developed a bedsore on my bottom that resulted in a pocket of infection on my tailbone the size of a large orange. I had my fourth surgery since I was admitted to Parkview on June 16th to clean out the infection. My body is a pin cushion of IVs and a PICC line.
People say I am alive because I have a purpose.
What that is I have no idea.
I just need prayers, vibes, or whatever you practice sent my way.
I am physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted.”
