HELP A FIRST GEN LATINA FILMMAKER GRADUATE!!

hi friends! My name is Cher and I am a Latina, first generation student at California State University, Northridge. I am currently in my last semester here before graduating and obtaining my Bachelor Degree in film production with an emphasis in Cinematography.

Recently I found out that I needed two more classes which I wasn’t accounting for, in order to be able to graduate. So far, I have been able to fund my own education by working two-three jobs when I can, but I won’t be able to pay for these last units. I am a non-citizen and have mixed immigration status, therefore it is nearly impossible to receive any sort of state funding/aid or scholarships. Thankfully my photography has helped alleviate some of my expenses and for that I am extremely grateful to anyone who has ever hired me!!

The reason I am creating this gofundme is to humbly reach out to my community & friends for any support. I understand times are tricky at the moment, so whether you are able to donate any amount or simply share this with your community, it would truly mean a lot to me.
