Help a Freelancer in Florida replace her car!

Hi there!

My name is Eyrie. I'm a freelance artist living in Florida, and the day before thanksgiving this year, I hydroplaned and my car and the cement barrier got to know each other super well haha! The back of my car collapsed inward and severely damaged my exhaust pipe - and in turn my catalytic converter, as well as my trunk, and right rear door.

The trunk and back door being open have been causing my battery to drain to dead this last weekend, and my exhaust is now leaking into my cabin due to the damage from the crash. My engine is stuttering hard, and anything over 20 MPH causes the car to drop RPMS, leading to eventual stalling. The car is a 2005 Mazda 6, and is unfortunately not worth anything to scrap at this point.

Im making this gofundme to potentially get myself a new used car. I currently have a job, but I need a car to be able to get to it, as well as doing doordash, and freelancing with my fursuit business. I would never ask for anything unless I had no other options, and I am really at my wits end with trying to figure out what to do. I want to be able to have a stable car so I can save income for rent, and eventually, a home of my own.

The issues with the car basically happened overnight- she was running fine, and I think the strain on the exhaust and battery deadening over this last weekend was the final nail in her coffin, hence the length of time between when the accident happened and me making this fundraiser.

My goal is $12000 as I'm seeing used cars with decent years and milage go for around $10,000, so I figured that would be a safe goal to include fee, tax, tag, and titles, as well as closing cost stuff!
