Help a Gaza Family: Support Anees, Shayma, and Yamen

Hello everyone. My name is Anees, and my wife Shayma and our little son Yamen were raised in Gaza. We have created this GoFundMe to ask for your help for our family. My wife Shayma and I share a passion for architecture. Here are some photos of us before the war in Gaza.

Our family wants to leave for a safety place; however, we are facing the challenging decision of having to leave our careers. The evacuation is very expensive, costing us $5,000 per person, totaling more than $15000. Now, we have limited resources to support ourselves.

Since the beginning of October 7th, we had to evacuate our house multiple times to end up on empty land with very minimum support for proper living. Here is a photo of our family sleeping outdoor in Gaza since we had to leave our home:

We were able to escape Gaza but now face the new challenge of having to survive with just the clothes on our back. Here are some photos of our family:

As a result of this war, we lost our house, our jobs, our laptop, our clothes, and everything else. We need support so we can continue our work as architects and afford to live.

The money donated today will help our family establish a new life and afford essential work items such as a laptop and office tools. We are now refugees who must find a way to build a new life with very limited resources.
