Help a war-inflicted Gazan family rebuild their life

my name is Fardowsa and I am raising funds on behalf of my dear friend shayma and her family who have been bravely dealing with a situation none of us will ever be able to bear in our lifetime. Please take a minute to read her story and be kind enough to help in anyway you can.

Shayma and her 16-person family have successfully been able to flee the war in Gaza and are now hoping to build their lives in Egypt with your help InshaAllah.

Here’s what your donation can help them with:

As they escaped war with barely anything, they need money to cover up basic life necessities such as rent, clothes, food and the likes.

As they are a big family, they can’t stay in one apartment, so the married siblings with their little families will rent their own places, till the family is able to purchase one big house able to contain them all.

5 persons need to resume/start their university education, and education in Egypt is expensive for expats. For example, Rawaa, the sibling who was in Egypt before the war, has to pay $3k per semester. The kids (3) will also need to enter kindergartens and schools.

When they got bombed, two of her sisters got wounded. One of them needs urgent medical follow up attention. The mom suffers from varicose veins and wishes to seek medical help as well. Additionally, Shayma’s two sisters-in-law are expecting.

Of course, the family can’t rely on donations forever. They’re planning to set up a small business, but they need your help with that as well.

As mentioned on Shayma’s Twitter account, she has family members in Gaza who rely on the money she sends them. Your donations will go to Gazans in Gaza as well.

We are also hoping to collect funds that are sufficient for rebuilding their house back in Gaza after the war ends InshaAllah.
