Help a grieving family with the loss of Lindsay.

In October of 2022, Lindsay Taylor passed away suddenly and tragically at age 43 as a result of her second battle with Lymphoma. She is survived by her husband Richard and their 3 children, Priya, Subhadra, and Narayan.

Lindsay’s family has been struggling financially since she had her first battle with cancer in 2016 and was denied a critical illness insurance claim over a disputed technicality. This injustice caused Lindsay and her family to bear additional financial burdens from which they have never recovered. This year things went from bad to worse when Lindsay’s husband Richard lost his job in the summer, and then lost his most beloved wife three months later.

Richard is now looking after his three children and managing the household without their mother. He has not been able to return to work and has accrued additional debt. The family has also not been able to perform Lindsay’s last funeral rights aside from a basic cremation.

Lindsay was a source of joy and light for everyone she knew or even crossed paths with. She was a deeply spiritual person whose only desire was to help and serve others. She had dreams of returning to work in the natural healthcare space after her recovery, and had been offered a job at a Naturopathic clinic where she would be able to help others in their own healing journeys. She was taken far too soon in the prime of her life with many unfulfilled dreams and missed opportunities.

We are asking for help to support the family during this extremely difficult time. The money we raise will go toward:

Funeral expenses

Outstanding medical expenses

Travel & accommodation bills from out-of-town hospital treatments

Debt incurred due to loss of income

Family medical expenses (counseling, etc)

Any additional funds will be used in Lindsay’s name to further her work in natural healing, either through donation to an existing cause or in collaboration with other care providers.
