Help a Hadza family!
Donation protected
My name is Joel and I first formed a connection with Tontla and his hadza family in 2016. I have visited them almost every year since then. Myself and my close friend Callie Russel have created a fundraiser for this family.
The Hadza are some of the last hunter gatherers on Earth that live in Tanzania, East Africa. They have a rich and self sufficient culture. Unfortunately they have experienced many challenges over decades such as loss of historical hunting lands, social judgement and aggression from other tribes, and reduction in large game species due to an increase in farming of their lands.
By donating, you could win a traditional bow and arrow made by Msintu, one of the elders. The goal is to raise at least $2000 to provide emergency medical transportation, supplement food certain times of year for their dogs and kids, and pay for school fees for selected youngsters. This assistance provides immense help to these people.
On May 26th we will randomly pick the name of a donor and send them this beautiful traditional bow that is 9 years old and harvested many animals to feed the Hadza.
