My name is Amber. I am a 36yr old, single parent of 4 children. I’ve been in the healthcare field since 2007. Since I started healthcare in 2007, I have gained valuable experience in home care, respite and hospice care, CNA, medical assistant and EKG tech. I also have gained 16 years of experience in Phlebotomy and 4yrs as a certified CPR/ BLS instructor.

Another area that I have excelled in is childcare. I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and have been employed as an infant, toddler and preschool teacher. I was director of a Keystone 4 STAR facility for several years

As you can tell my passion in life is to Help SAVE A LIFE. I celebrated my 21st birthday at Temple University hospital because my mother was hospitalized for 4 months and unfortunately never made it home. I sincerely feel that because I did not get a chance to take care of my mother in the comfort of her own home during her last days, I am persistent & determined to help another person in any way I can. As I reflect on the number of deaths daily , due to the lack of first responders working and the number of bystanders that does not know how to properly perform basic CPR in our community, I feel obligated to step up and assist. Since 2010 I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be a EMT and now that I have years of multiple skills and hands on experience that relates to EMT , I KNOW MY TIME IS NOW & I WILL BE GREAT AT IT. My goal is to successfully complete a EMT training in Atlanta and immediately bridge into Advanced EMT before the end of 2025. With this training I can work in all 50 states and will be able to assist others on and off duty.. I would love to lock in now & start next semester. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
