Help a homeless content creator replace his stolen laptop

Hi. My name is Mark Dyson. After working 7 jobs in Ohio, being forced to drop out of college despite a full ride for computer science, escaping an abusive home, blocking my toxic family, and running away to California for a girl who was ultimately a waste of time, I've finally decided I'd rather be happy as opposed to financially stable.

I spend a great majority of my time working on 3D animations for YouTube (@markpdyson). I am obsessed with math, science, philosophy, music, and general tomfoolery. I do not make money from this yet, but by living in my car and not paying rent nor utilities, I can afford to not be paid for a while. To eat food, I am a street pianist at Golden Gate Park here in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, I've had a small setback. My backpack containing my laptop and several other nerdy electronics was stolen without a trace. I've accepted that I will never see it again, and I have resolved to do every effort to replace what was stolen with something that's even better. As of now, my only means of income is playing piano and general handyman work for neighbors. This is fine, and I should be back on track within a few months.

My plans moving forward are simple: I'm going to grow my YouTube channel; start an online business selling software followed by hardware; buy a Uhaul van and convert it to an RV, travel the USA and do all the things I couldn't do as a kid (spend 10 hours in an arcade playing pinball, buy a 4K TV alongside a kickass gaming rig, and give away money to strangers).

This is where you can come in. By donating, you will not only allow me to more quickly continue where I left off, but also spread awareness of my existence. It is my life goal to be a good person and leave behind a good legacy after I die. I wish to be an example and end the toxic cycle of my family's intergenerational abuse. And I want to show that it is possible to be rich and famous but also a decent human being who is not an asshole.

I plan on working on multiple projects, including but not limited to: bring back physical media and make paying artists for their work cool again, make a self sufficient homeless shelter franchise, and put together a team of talented programmers and put an end to Google's monopoly on the video sharing platform market by making a suitable competitor to YouTube.

I've learned my lesson. Both my next backpack and laptop will have air tags inside of them, and I will be much more diligent about locking up my valuables. I cannot waste anymore time putting up with criminals who make a living off of dishonesty.
