Help a Homeless Veteran and his family.

Hi, My name is Harold and I am a peer support specialist who serves veterans and non-veterans in the Hartford CT area. I have a newly separated veteran who is in dire need of assistance. He was administratively separated and was released with a general discharge under honorable conditions. Due to circumstances beyond his control while he has separated he only has a worksheet copy of his DD214. I am working to get the correct DD214. Until he gets that, he can not apply for unemployment, get housing, or even get VA services. They recently had a medical emergency due to the situation and have a bill for services that must be paid. They also need a place to stay until we can get the DD214 settled. Please help a veteran in need. We are only asking for enough to get them through a couple of weeks.
