To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
My name is Joshua Bliss and I have been accepted to be a candidate with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest this upcoming fall. For those of you that do not know, the Institute of Christ the King, “is a society of Apostolic life of Pontifical right whose goal is the honor of God and the sanctification of priests in the service of the Church and souls. Its specific aim is missionary: to spread the reign of our Lord Jesus Christ in all spheres of human life. Our work is carried out under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception, to Whom the Institute is consecrated.” I will include a link to their website so you can find out more. God has blessed me with this acceptance as I can truly discern the priesthood and pursue what could potentially be my calling in life.
As I enter a new chapter of my life, I have become more conscious of my dependence on God to provide than I ever have been. I humbly ask you for two things. First, I ask for your prayers. Pray for the graces that I need to follow God's will, as Our Lord says in the Gospel “without me you can do nothing.” Please be assured of my prayers for you as well. Second, I ask if you are able and willing, to prayerfully consider assisting me financially in this journey. I will include a link to a GoFundMe account, or if you so wish I can also accept donations personally.
