Help A Loving Dad Fight Leukemia
My dad, Julio Pioquinto-Cortes, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia, which has devastated our family. Anyone that knows Julio also knows that he's one of the hardest workers ever. Whether it's a family member or friend, everyone considers him a "workaholic." If you know him, he wouldn't be asking for help if he didn't genuinely need it. He is already receiving treatment, however, is expected to be in and out of the hospital for approximately the next 6 months. Thankfully, my dad is in amazing care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As his treatment continues, he and my mom, Amanda, will need to be staying close to the hospital, which is an hour and a half away from our house. Without a doubt, Julio's family is the most important thing to him. If you decide to donate, the funds will be going primarily towards the medical bills, travel expenses and making sure that his children are taken care of. Any amount would be more helpful than you realize and if you would rather donate in a different way other than Gofundme feel free to. Even if you don't donate, just spreading the word and praying for him mean so much to us.
*Any money donated that goes above and beyond the expenses that our family needs will be donated directly to another family going through the same struggles that we are*
