Help a mom of 6 after she was shot at while working Uber

My mom was working Uber on October 4, 2024, when two male passengers in North County (Riverview) we believe attempted to carjack her. They pointed an AK-47 at her. She kept her own gun (9mm) under her seat when she was working for her own protection, thankfully. She reached forward to get it as one of the guys took her keys out of her ignition. They saw her gun, freaked out, got out of the car, went to the back, and started to shoot at my mom. Four bullets went through her windshield in front of her. Two more through her headrest (THANK GOD THE HEADREST PREVENTED THEM FROM GETTING TO HER!), and more into the seat of her car. Her windows are all busted, her tire was shot out, and there are quite a few bullet holes in her car. Not to mention the fact that they grazed her arm. Thankfully, that’s all that happened, but now she has stitches and medical bills. The idiots fled on foot when she called the police. There was a helicopter looking for them but was unsuccessful. And now Uber is telling my mom she has to not only pay them a $2,500 deductible because someone

SHOT AT HER AND TRIED TO STEAL HER CAR WHILE SHE WAS WORKING, they also won’t pay for any medical bills or a rental car or anything for her.

So now she is out of a job, has medical bills, and a car to replace. She has three teenagers that are still at home, out of her 6 kids. She doesn’t have the money to pay for all of this, nor a job to make the money to pay for this, and she’s out of a car to take her kids to practices and games and doctors appointments. Please help her out.

All funds will be going towards helping my mom get back on her feet after this traumatic event.
