Why She Needs Your Support

The short story is: A mother and her child who have endured various forms of abuse and are in the final stages of separating from the individual responsible. She has persevered to get to these last steps but is in financial need of paying court fees and associated moving costs to relocate with her child safely.

Relocating will enable her to pursue higher education and access a substantial family support network currently unavailable in her region. Recently, she received employment opportunities supporting her education, but these were obstructed by her former partner, who negatively impacted her employment throughout their relationship.

The financial burden of court-related expenses has been overwhelming. She has managed to bear this burden (Over 30k) thus far but she is now at a place where she needs help from our community.

The other cannot be held accountable for the financial costs due to being “Judgement Proof”.

Who I Am

I am a friend organizing this GoFundMe to help maintain her anonymity. All funds raised will go directly to her and her daughter. I am not retaining any portion of the funds. My sole concern is ensuring their safety and allowing her to continue being the incredible mother she has been, even amidst these difficulties.

Accountability

We live in an age with disreputable people, but I have run similar gofundmes for friends in the past who needed to move. When money is taken from this, I will update this page and give proof of the money being transferred (keeping my bank account info private of course, and her identity/bank account info private).
