Help A Mother of Trans Child In Texas

I am the mother of a transgender child living in Austin, Texas. Yesterday, Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered state agencies to investigate transgender kids receiving gender-affirming care to be classified as “child abuse” under existing state law.

This situation is threatening the safety and lives of transgender kids and parents all across the state and we need help relocating. We really need a hand right now keeping our daughter safe. Any help is greatly appreciated for our family!

NEW UPDATE! 

We just wanted to thank everyone for your support. Last week was very hectic and busy week getting all packed up. We ended up leaving Wednesday night and arriving in Colorado on Friday afternoon. We are getting all settled in. Moving was a lot more expensive than we originally thought and my savings account is nearly empty. We also didn’t secure our first home location and had to go with option 2. We have been offered interviews by major news networks and we are increasing our ask from $20K to $50K. We think that the visibility will give us a chance to give our child a better future and we hope you continue to support our campaign to support us in this time.
