Help a mother see justice served

Two years ago it was discovered that my little nephew had been sexually assaulted by someone extremely close to the family.. An uncle through marriage. The devastation of this nightmare was only amplified when my nephew told us that it had happened years ago...when he was only 4 and 5 years old. His case is FINALLY going to trial in June of 2017, the San Diego courts are covering the cost of my sister and nephew's flight from home ( Vancouver ), and one night's hotel accommodation for the day the DA needs my nephew to testify. However, my sister, who is now a full time stay at home single mother due to these circumstances, understandably wants to be able to see this thing through and witness the monster who committed these horrific crimes be punished and sent to jail. For both her own peace of mind, but also to alleviate my poor nephews fears and night terrors of that pervert finding him again. To try and list the medical, psychological, and emotional damages my nephew has suffered is impossible, but the comfort he would feel just knowing that his attacker is behind bars would go a long way towards his recovery. The man who did this to my nephew is also going to be on trial for his attacks on other children & at least one other family member. What I am trying to do with this Go Fund Me, is to raise enough money that would allow my sister to rent a room or extended stay suite for herself and my nephew to stay in San Diego for the month of June 2017 to hopefully see this trial all the way through. & I would start another funding project if a verdict hasn't been reached by that time. If I could, I obviously would throw thousands of dollars at my sister to pay for her accommodations and day to day expenses myself, but I'm a single mama as well & this is the best I can do to help. Please try and imagine yourself wearing the shoes my sister and nephew are forced to walk in right now, and even if you can help with 1$, just know that it's for a very real cause and we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
