8/3/23: THE CRAPPIEST UPDATE YET: this is what Reggie posted today on Facebook:

It is with the deepest sadness I want to let everyone know that Julia Ringenberger McKinnon is at peace with the Lord. My Liberty High School sweetheart is now resting. 35+ years of love and memories came to an end in less than two months battling FN Cancer. I have spent two hours looking for a picture of Julie in her phone. But I know she would want me right next to her. Just how we have been all this time. In just the last few weeks I learned how powerful Julie’s love was for all people. She leaned toward children and friends that need a shoulder and never questioned their struggles. She would share these times with me but I never realized how much impact she had on you all. I reached out to as many people as I could today with phone calls. I know I missed some of you and I’m sorry. Julie would kick my ass if I just sent a text. All my time has been focused on her since we went to the ER on June 8th. Now I have to be both of us and continue our lives in her memory. I will need all of you and I know you will be here to help us. I will live the rest of my life following what Julie and I wanted for our girls. Thank you everyone for all your stories and kind words. Julie is going to be with Payton and that rests my heart. Until we meet again…I Love You Julie…to the moon and back again. ❤️

EVEN CRAPPIER UPDATE 7/26/23: Hospice was not following Julia’s medicine protocol so she was taken back to Gulf Coast Hospital where they are keeping her comfortable. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE

CRAPPY UPDATE AS OF 7/25/23: Julia is still fighting, but unfortunately today she was moved to Hope Hospice in North Fort Myers. Please continue to say prayers for her and her family as she fights this cancer!

HEARTBREAKING UPDATE: Julia has been diagnosed with stage 4 Gall Bladder Cancer. This cancer is AGGRESSIVE and INOPERABLE. It started as a gall bladder mass with lesions on her liver and has now progressed to her abdominal area. PRAYERS ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED FOR THE FAMILY! Any monetary donation you can make to the family to assist with the ever growing medical bills is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Hi, my name is Regina and we are raising money for Julia McKinnon and her family to help pay for medical bills and other household bills that arise while she is focusing on getting better!
