Help a Muslim Family Battling Hardships
Donation protected
We are reaching out on behalf of a Muslim couple who recently moved to the US last year through the Lottery program. Their journey, however, has been filled with unimaginable challenges, and they now find themselves in a desperate situation.
The mother of three, is paralyzed in her right hand due to a traumatic incident in Egypt. She endured a physical altercation with a previous tenant, resulting in severe nerve damage. The couple has faced heart-wrenching trials, including the arrest of their son for political reasons during a college demonstration.
Medical bills and legal expenses drained their resources, leaving them struggling to make ends meet. The mother also battles heart problems and relies on medication for her blood pressure. The husband, at 63 years old, had open heart surgery and is now the sole caretaker for his wife.
They moved to America with hopes of a better life after winning the Lottery, but financial difficulties persist. His green card is pending, making it challenging for him to secure employment. The couple is now two months behind on rent, facing the imminent threat of eviction from their new home in Ditmars.
We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to rally support for this family. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering their rent, ensuring they have a stable living environment as they navigate through these tough times. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact on their journey to stability.
Your kindness can make a difference in rebuilding their lives and providing them with the hope they desperately need.
