Help A Muslim Family Have A New Baby

As Salaamu 'Alaykum Brothers & Sisters,

 

An Imaam in the Greater Toronto Area (Canada) who is personally known to me (Br. Ijaz Ahmad) is seeking assistance to help him build his family. Due to chronic medical illnesses, his wife is not able to conceive a baby. After prolonged treatment, many tests, and many consultations with medical specialists, it has been determined that the only way for this family to have a child is to seek fertility treatment.

 

Having myself (Br. Ijaz) seen the thousands of dollars spent to help treat his wife's condition, the family has exhausted their resources and have now turned to the Ummah to help them in their time of need. I can testify by Allaah that I have seen the bills, as well as medical reports and various other documents which completely and truthfully validate their need.

 

The total cost that the family currently needs to meet is $11,000 Canadian Dollars. We are only asking for help with $5,000 in the hope that we can locally raise the remaining sum. Having a child is something encouraged in the Qur'aan and the Prophetic Sunnah:

 

“And those who say: ‘Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the Muttaqoon (the pious)’”, al-Furqaan 25:74.

 

“And remember when you were but few, and He multiplied you”, al-A’raaf 7:86.

 

Let us keep in mind that when we donate, every act of good that this child does will be an act we have contributed towards. Every Salaah, every fast, every du'a that this child makes, we will get rewarded for this. Let us help this hardworking Imaam, who is beloved in his local community to realise his dream of having a child.
