Help A New Leaf Florist Stay in Business

Dear Friends -

My name is Cathy and I'm a long time friend of A New Leaf Florist and Gabriel Herrera. 

Thank you to those of you who participated in this initial gofundme when the pandemic first began. Gabriel is very grateful for your generosity that helped him get through that hard time, especially after our dear friend and coworker Martine died.

Unfortunately the flower shop has now run into hard times and Gabriel is praying for a miracle. We are trying to help him come up with anything we can toward the $15K he needs to save his flower shop.  

Unfortunately, Gabriel has had to use  the bulk of the income and profits from the shop during the pandemic to help the family he has in Mexico. He has had 21 family  members who have come down with covid-19 and some have passed away and/or are no longer able to help the family financially because of this illness. Also, unfortunately due to administrative/accounting  issues with the shop, Gabriel has NOT been able to qualify for ANY of the government loans available to small businesses like his. 

We were able to raise almost $3K in 2020 and hope that if God has blessed you with some extra cash during this time, that you would consider paying it forward to Gabriel and A New Leaf Florist. We believe God isn't done with this little flower shop yet and Gabriel has blessed so many people who have walked through the doors of the shop since it opened over 10 years ago.
