Help a non-binary queer leave an abusive home

Hi I’m Sapphairis. I’m a genderfluid, non-binary, bisexual, Black Canadian. I’m raising funds to help pay for the costs of “independent” living (rent, food, general upkeep) until the housing program I was approved for is actually able to actually house me.

I live in a traditional Nigerian-Christian household that is in no way accepting of me. I’ve had to live most of my live with unchecked metal illnesses and disorders that are now catching up with me and making everyday living quite difficult. My symptoms are of course exacerbated by having to rely on unsupportive family. My mental disorders are dismissed. Sometimes I'm discouraged from taking meds or going to therapy, other times I'm just told my disorders aren't real. 

I have been living on the Ontario Disability Support Program but it’s not enough to be independent. I had to supplement it with part time work. However, my mental health has declined to a state whereby I am no longer fit for work until I improve.

I need your help because this environment is not one in which I can improve. All progress is undone by the active abuse and lack of acceptance. I’m not even allowed to exist as I am in this house and my family has done all they can to prevent me from leaving. Anything you are able to contribute, even just a share, would be greatly appreciated.
