Help Ibrahim’s Family for a better life

In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful.

This fundraiser is being organized by an American inside the United States in support of a family from Gaza attempting to flee to Egypt. We pray for an immediate ceasefire to stop the appalling loss of life that the world is witnessing.

With Gaza’s borders tightly controlled, most Palestineans can’t escape. Only some Palestineans are managing to enter Egypt by paying thousands of dollars of refuge costs to cross the border.

The family is requesting assistance for funds to evacuate through the Rafah/Egypt crossing. We will ensure that her family receives the crossing demands of $30,000 which is $5,000 per person in her family of 5 including her parents, brother, and sister as well as travel expenses, commissions, and a bit of extra funds for the family to start a new life.

"Our home which had always been a safe haven for me and my family is now under the rubble like countless others. Our home where we created our stories, began our ambitions, and had our joyous occasions was destroyed and now is a place where our deepest sorrows reside. Every memory we had was tainted by the treacherous Israeli air strikes in less than a few seconds of bombing mercilessly. My father, who tirelessly worked and cared for every detail of the house for nearly ten years saw his efforts demolished in the blink of an eye."

With Gaza offering no solace, they, like refugees from 1948, face displacement once more in 2024. This may be the sole option for their survival as the crossing demands expected are absurd for a family that is currently enduring a genocide of unimaginable magnitude. The family shyly asked in a time of calamity and oppression for help from the international community.

This is a call to action to change their story of unspeakable suffering, and hopefully, a chance to be there for our Palestinian brothers and sisters in this humanitarian tragedy.
