Help a police officer fighting for his life.
Donation protected
Richie Haught has been a police officer for almost 23 years now, he is currently a detective. His wife Teresa and him have four wonderful children! They have three grown children and adopted a little guy three years ago (he is 5 now). Their life revolves around their kids and family.
He hurt his back lifting and after a few weeks the pain got to be too much, his wife took him to the ER on 10/16. Unfortunately, he was then diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer. After being hospitalized for about 9 days while starting chemo, he finally got to go home to his family. After being home for only 3 days, he was rushed back to the ER on 10/28 where he tested positive for COVID. It ultimately kept getting worse and turned into COVID pneumonia. After being in the hospital for over a month now, they are told that the COVID caused fibrosis in the lungs (scarring on the lungs) that is irreversible. Him and his family have a long journey ahead of them. After this hurdle with COVID, he will jump right back into chemo. He is a fighter with a positive attitude and keeping his faith in God.
I know the holidays are around the corner, but even $1 means something to this sweet family. If you’re unable to donate, do you mind taking a second to share this to your friends and family? We ask that you please keep Richie and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you and God bless.
