Help A Poultry Place animals in their new homes

This fundraiser is for the animals of A Poultry Place. It is organised by Animal Liberation ACT and the Animal Defenders Office.

 

Our dear friend Bede Carmody has passed away.

 

Bede was an incredibly special person who touched so many lives, non-human and human, across Australia. He ran A Poultry Place animal sanctuary for over 20 years offering a safe and permanent home to rescued and unwanted animals. Little Oak Sanctuary, Edgars Mission and Whisker Woods Sanctuary have provided new homes for Bede's animals. Our friends Nicole and Alex have taken in Bede's cats.

 

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible so that we can help cover the costs for the immediate and ongoing care of Bede's animals.

 

This page has been established so we as a community can raise funds to help the animals and the amazing work of the sanctuaries. All funds will go directly to the animals and the sanctuaries. The fundraiser is hosted by the Animal Defenders Office.
