Disabled Queer Artist in Need of Financial Help
Hi y’all!
I am raising funds to pay bills and get prints and stickers of my art made to sell to support myself. Currently, I am behind on bills and am running the risk of my power and internet being shut off, don't have the funds to order groceries, and can't even buy the basic necessities.

I have epilepsy, fibromyalgia, POTS, EDS, bradycardia which requires a pacemaker, low BP, psoriatic arthritis, and other issues which have me spending more time in the hospital in a month than most people do in a year.
I had been selling my art at markets, but many of them have closed, and due to health and transportation issues, it's not easy to attend others. I would like to sell art I can send through the mail and not have to rely on a moment of good health or getting a ride in order to earn a living. My overall goal is to buy the equipment to make prints, stickers, and more at home for myself and others.

I have a hard time finding work that fits within the parameters of my health limitations and needs. Art is not only a viable work option for me, but it's what I've always wanted to do. Being able to sell my art again would give me the ability to support myself and not always have to rely on the generosity of others.

My art revolves mainly around queer, feminist, and disability issues, with a focus on using as much recycled and reused materials as possible.

Through many mediums I am able to depict the lives of disabled individuals and bring up ways in which the disabled community is forgotten or ignored. As a queer artist, I channel many of the disadvantages I and others within the queer community experience, such as low representation and laws that restrict what we can do with our bodies. In addition, I celebrate the ways in which we in the queer community are fortunate to have each other and our communities. I often use humor in my work to offer a little lightheartedness in these trying times.
