Help a Queer Family Stay Safe and Housed
Donation protected
We are a family of three—an enby and two trans women—facing an unprecedented crisis. Recent federal policies have made it increasingly difficult for us to maintain stable employment, and we’ve just suffered an unexpected job loss, leaving us with only one part-time job between the three of us. Hours are scarce, and the hiring market is brutal—especially for trans people like us.
We’ve exhausted our savings, and without passports (which we are now barred from obtaining), our options are limited. The reality is stark: if we don’t meet our goal, we will be homeless within two months. Homelessness is particularly dangerous for trans individuals, and we are terrified of what that could mean for our safety and survival.
One of us, a 19 year old trans girl, recently fled Florida in search of safety, only to find that even in so-called “blue states,” our rights and stability are under threat. We are doing everything we can—applying for jobs, seeking resources, and fighting to stay afloat—but we need your help to bridge the gap.
Your support will directly help us cover rent, utilities, food, and other essential expenses while we continue to search for stable work. Every dollar brings us closer to safety and gives us the chance to rebuild our lives.
We are not just asking for help—we are asking for a lifeline. Please donate and share our fundraiser widely. Your kindness could save our lives.
