Help a Ringwood public school extend its chaplaincy program

As a local MP in Ringwood, I love advocating for our community.

The awesome children at Eastwood Primary School and Deaf Facility need our help.

This amazing state school – one of the most inspirational schools I know – supports 586 children from different backgrounds, faiths, ethnicities and abilities (including those who are hearing impaired).

One of the programs found to have had a genuinely positive impact on the school’s children is the chaplain program. This program is currently running for three days a week. However, given the benefits it has provided to the children (who let’s face it, are still bouncing back from COVID) – the school wants to extend the program from 3 to 4 days a week.

Through its own initiative – and parent support – the school has made the program happen, now it our turn to support their work.

In short, I’d like to ask for any help you can give to help Eastwood raise $5,000.

So, in the spirit of Father Christmas, I urge all Ringwood residents, Victorians and indeed Australians, to help a school helping itself in support of their beautiful children. What a great initiative to support this festive season.
