Help An Artist Feed Their Family

Hello to you and yours! I'm a full time artist who fills my world up with music and laughter until it overflows into yours.
And I need help right now, because when I was becoming a full time artist, I failed to take care of myself properly.
I have Bipolar 1, and the months I felt exhilarated from success after losing two tech jobs in 2023 were *also* months I was in a manic season without any medication.
Underslept and overconfident, I found myself in a manic spiral in September, which led to a late-night psychosis that cost a whole lot.
I completely lost myself for a few scary days. Mostly scary because of how hard they are to remember even now!
Currently, I need to find a place to live that's not my home, and I need to do so in a way that doesn't cost me my home.
Because my kid lives there, and she needs stability and continued financial support. And maybe a new video game once in a while, just to help with leisure time.
My wife lives there too, and she needs space to rest between homeschool sessions. And a cozy new bathrobe or something, to help her rest easier.
I also need to pay for my own next place for the foreseeable future, which likely means finding a tech job again.
I'm a senior Ruby on Rails engineer and a code bootcamp educator with some Go and Node and React/Typescript experience, so once I dust off my stale code-pushing skills, I'm confident I can make enough money somewhere to cover rent and a mortgage and two sets of bills.
I could really use some help with the transition months. Pretty please!
It takes time to update a resume and go through all the hoops of a job search.
I have been making do through the first weeks of this crisis by selling custom songs on TikTok, which used to be good enough of a grind to support us all together at our one house.
In these new days, I will need to return to my former status of "gainfully employed, and moonlighting as an indie artist" to secure the type of bag I'll need.
I set the amount I set because I figure I'll make some money with my music and I'll need money beyond that to make ends meet in two households.
Three months of support will hopefully be enough time to find and move into a new place, and also to work through several job hunt cycles – I never count on the first three sets of interviews going anywhere – before finding a good career fit.
Once I'm in a place of my own with a remote coding job, I'll be able to pay the big bills and hone my art skills.
Thanks so much for helping me survive til that point!
And thanks for your consideration even if you can't chip in today! Hey, do you know anyone else who might be able to?
Please share this with anyone you know who works in tech and listens to music at work to help them concentrate. They often have disposable income plus awareness of the value of good music in any balanced life.
