To all passionate souls around the world;
We are Maisara, Dana, and our child, Basil, a family from Gaza whose possessions and dreams were shattered by war. The small family that lost the warm home that brought them together, now finds itself homeless after displacement and fleeing from imminent death in the city. We managed to save ourselves, but we did not save our lovely home nor the memories!
Maisara, Dana & Basil, before war.
Our home used to hold many laughs, dreams, aspirations, and passions. Now it has become a pile of rubble and ash. Its beautiful rooms and many details in its corners took us years of effort and work together to provide for ourselves one of the essentials of living, and a beautiful room for our only child, Basil. We prepared it with the finest details and many delicate touches so that he could live in a peaceful space like any child living a normal life.
Basil, 6-years-old, used to be a professional junior football player.
Basil, now, in the displacement place.
All of that is now under the remnants of the walls due to the destructive shelling that hit our house, and now we are even unable to obtain a single memory that connects us to it. Our only dream now is to return and gather again under one roof, to ward off fear!

Unfortunately, we have lost all the means that would enable us to stand again and go back to live in our cozy home. Both my wife Dana and I have lost our source of income and jobs, and any other source of livelihood to achieve our aspirations.

My passionate profession was also lost due to the shelling on my workplace, and it has become a pile of rubble, leaving me unemployed. For six months now, I have not been able to obtain an income to alleviate the hardship of war for us.
The company I work at is destructive due to shelling.
My wife, Dana, also lost her job as an academic at the university and her beautiful office at home, which was also a means of providing income from freelancing jobs. In addition, she was pursuing her postgraduate studies (Master) in a rare technological major, and because of the war she has been unable to complete her studies. She paid all the tuition fees, and now they're all going in vain!

After all this suffering that left a psychological impact on us and turned our lives upside down, we decided to seek help and support to stand again and achieve a new hopeful start to obtain a source of income that would enable us to pursue our life, evacuate Gaza, find a new place to live in abroad, and regain some of the details that have become part of the past.
We greatly appreciate the contribution of all those who want to revive our hope again and believe that we deserve better than what we have experienced during this ongoing war!
