Help a small volunteer fire department
Donation protected
Our small rural community relies on our little department to be the first responders to medical emergencies, traffic accidents, rescues and fires.
Before the pandemic the department struggled to keep its fire apparatus protected ,in good working order and to keep updated PPE for the 100% Volunteer staff. The old water tender(truck) we have sits outside and the sea air is turning it to rust.
Since the pandemic our main fundraiser has been cancelled so we have been just keeping afloat with small donations for protective gear and to replenish our medical supplies when we use them.
We, as of just recently, have all gone through extensive training in all aspects of Firefighters/first responders. We have some goals as a company.
1: Update our Fire Tender
2: Update our Rescue Rig
3: Build structure to protect water tender from the elements
4: Purchase a industrial washer to clean the gear we use after a fire
5: Purchase a system to re- fill our Breathing Apparatus bottles
Please help us reach those goals
The community thanks you!
