Help a Buddhist nun get wheels for social work

Donation protected
Ayya Yeshe is a socially engaged Buddhist nun who volunteers in India and in schools and soup kitchens in Australia.

She teaches meditation and does a lot of pastoral care in the community amongst those who have no money to pay.

Ayya's previous car is beyond repair and Ayya desperately needs a new (second hand) car to be able to reach the remote hermitage where she lives (there is no public transport and no supporters living nearby). All funds raised will go towards supporting Ayya and her work serving the community.

Without a car, it is unlikely Ayya will be able to continue serving others for long. Ayya has a heart of gold, she lived for 10 years near an Indian slum where her charity helps 1000 people per year. Sadly she has never had much left over for her basic needs. Last year Ayya was temporarily homeless.

The Buddhist community, which is small, does not support Western nuns like Ayya and they have an 80% disrobing rate.

Can you make a difference in this worthy cause?

Thank you in advance for your support.
