Help a Somali Mother From Being Evicted

Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).

 

As-salamu-aleykum Brothers and Sisters,

 

A Somali mother is on the verge of being evicted from her home with her children in Hargeisa, Somaliland. Unlike here in the West, there is no automatic support system in place from the authorities, and they would be on the streets, which we are trying to avoid.

 

She is currently two months behind on rent, her rent being the equivalent of £150 per month, so we are currently raising money so that she is able to pay the outstanding payments and stay in her home with her children.

 

If possible too we would like to support her in her next few rent payments as to prevent this situation from occurring.

 

As Muslims, we understand that whatever Allah SWT has chosen for us is best and Alhamdulillah that is what keeps Fadumo going.

 

I know we are living in difficult times and we ask Allah to protect us from all calamities and difficulties. May Allah swt also grant those who are sick all over the world Shifaa, Ameen.

 

No amount is too small. If you cannot donate, then I plead with you to make sincere Dua as it has the unique ability to change destiny.
