Help a Special Ed worker cover her unexpected income loss!

Hi! I'm Syri, a trans woman, mom, labor organizer and special education worker. I've been working hard this year in a new elementary school setting, building relationships and offering compassionate support and advocacy to a wide range of students.

It's a good job but the economy has been ever more challenging and it's difficult to keep pace with expenses. And now, with the finish line in sight, I ran through all my sick leave without realizing it and my last paycheck was unexpectedly docked a lot of pay. I'll be docked a bit on June's paycheck as well. My union has a sick leave bank, but my Dr visits don't qualify as a serious illness or injury, so I'm out of luck.

My bank account is fast approaching zero. I'm asking for timely assistance to make up the difference and keep me afloat til summer. With your help I can make it across that finish line for an amazing year!
