Help a Struggling Queer Person Afford Rent

My friend Mace was forced to move out of their emotionally and physically abusive father's home, and is unable to stay with their mother since she does not live in Canada. They moved into a new house under the assumption that their Permanent Resident application would be completed by late September. It is already approved but they do not have their social insurance number or their PR card yet. This part of the process is taking much longer than expected, and so they are unable to get a job. This means that they have no money to afford either rent or food.

Any small donations would help, and we hope to be able to afford at least 2 months rent to give time for Mace to get their SIN/PR card, and to save up any further money to afford later months of rent just in case.
