Project "Paglaum" Scholarship Program in Catubig
Donation protected
Inspired by the Waray term "Paglaum," meaning "Hope," Project Paglaum empowers a deserving senior student from Catubig, Northern Samar, Philippines, to pursue her dreams of graduating from the Special Education program. The student, whose financial limitations threatened her aspirations, will now have access to a Bachelor of Special Needs Education at St. Scholastica's College, Manila.
Driven by a deep belief in equal treatment and access to basic services for all, especially those with special needs, the Project Paglaum team envisions a future where the graduate returns to Catubig. There, she will share the knowledge and expertise, enriching the lives of Catubignons, particularly those with special needs.
That in all things God may be Glorified!
Our Mission
Project Paglaum is dedicated to empowering students in Catubig to reach their full potential in Special Needs Education. We aim to provide scholarships and support to deserving individuals, particularly those facing financial constraints. Our mission is to create a more equitable and inclusive educational landscape, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams in Special Education.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every student in Catubig has access to quality education in Special Education, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Project Paglaum aims to be a catalyst for change, empowering students to become Special Needs Educators at the soon to be built Catubig SPED Center and contribute to the nation's development. Through our efforts, we aspire to inspire a generation driven by hope, resilience, and a commitment to positively impacting children with special needs and the community in Catubig.
