Help a Student Rebuild her Mother's Burnt House

Hi, my name is Denisha; I am the eldest of 4 children to a single mother. I am originally from Belize. Currently, I am a student pursuing an MD in Taiwan. On September 21, 2022, I received a call that my mother's house had been burnt to the ground. I am grateful that there were no casualties to the fire, but as you can see in the picture, nothing was saved, and now we have nothing.

This feels like a nightmare I can't wake up from. My mother built our home from the ground up, nail by nail, brick by brick and by herself! She worked day and night (including four jobs at one point) to get me to where I am today, put my other siblings through school, and put us in a home.

Maybe it was not much to some, but it was a home we could always call our own, so to have it burnt to the ground is...sigh. She does not even have a bed to call her own anymore. I don't have a home to go to anymore.

My mother is a resilient woman, the strongest woman I know and has endured a lot in this life. She did not deserve this. WE did not deserve this. I owe everything that I have to her and feel completely helpless because there is nothing I can do.
