Help Alex recover from a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alex, and I’m a tattoo artist and creator. Three weeks ago, my life changed in an instant when I suffered a serious accident that left me with a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage, a skull fracture, and the complete loss of my memories for an entire day that I’m still struggling to recount. Since the accident, I’ve been stuck in bed in excruciating pain, unable to work. Two days ago, I underwent surgery to ensure that everything is healing properly, but I still have a long road ahead of me as I accept having a traumatic brain injury.
Emotionally, I haven’t been okay. This experience has been incredibly challenging, and I’ve been on a lot of medication just to manage the pain. I take pride in my financial independence and the life I’ve built, but this injury has made it impossible for me to work and has brought me to a place where I need to ask for help—something that is hard for me to do.
While my parents have helped cover some of my medical bills, the costs are overwhelming. To make matters more stressful, my lease is ending on November 1st, and I will need to move soon. On top of that, people I trusted took advantage of me while I was down—they stole from me, and my artwork was damaged while my dad was moving my things into storage. It’s been an emotionally and financially draining time.
I’m asking for your support to help me cover the mounting medical bills, my upcoming move, and to get back on my feet as I heal and go through rehabilitation. Any amount you can give would mean the world to me. I’ve always been an active participant in life, and I hope to get back to creating and doing what I love as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Your help and kindness are appreciated more than I can put into words.
With love and gratitude,
Alex
