Hi pals, future pals, past pals, and anyone coming across this! 

My name’s Sherri. I’m an illustrator and writer, and trans woman living in Massachusetts. 


I’ve been getting by, kickin’ it socially most of my life, but I’d like to make the jump more legally and professionally with a true name change.


While I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy for more than a year, I’ve recently had an incredibly tough time paying my bills, both medical and for school.

And although my workplace has been supportive, they have voiced that they cannot do so full-heartedly without official documentation. 

I’m an essential worker and have been working since the beginning of the pandemic in a nursing home. I’m kitchen staff. I intend to put my full strength towards combating and restraining the virus every time I show up. It doesn’t pay my bills.

I’m asking for help with my name change to help me feel more comfortable at work and my personal life. 

I’m only asking to be myself.
